update on post tx 3 month VL

Hey everyone been trying to get on this site with old sign on JAY0914   but forgot password and tried to reset it with no response back from medhelp so i made up a new sign on...while its still premature on the name... my 3 month post VL came back NEGATIVE...WOOHOO...considering all the symptoms that were just like before TX i was real sure that the hep came back..did have upper GI endoscopy and have some issues there that was causing all the symptoms...still waiting on a biopsy results from that procedure so i hope it comes back normal...praying...i feel so much better now that im on some meds to control the acid in my stomach...3 more months and undetected and i can say SVR....THANKS FOR EVERYONES POSITIVE WORDS ON HERE!....all of you are awesome! GOD is GREAT!

nice going jay!!! maybe keep a diary of what you eat and see if your allergic to something ....2+ months post tx i crave red meat...i think my liver is regenerating...i think the protein in eggs helps restore the old liver cells but the protein in red meat helps to build new cells....i could be wrong on this of course....good luck.....billy

Jay - excellent.  I guess we all still have to wait until the 6 month post test for the official determination, but at 3 months post, I say you got it.

NOw, you were in a Incevik Trial right -- but it started around the time Incevik was approved.  So what were they looking at/for in the trial?

I told you that you were good to go!!!   Congrats!!!  The tx gets us the SVR, but does not always make you feel better......for awhile.  Let us know how your symptoms are over the coming months, and when you start to feel better!
