vaginal bleeding

I have been told my liver is fine I have had abdominal ct scan, ultra sound and 4 lft's run, also my pt and ptt were all normal.  I still have slight discomfort on the liver and just
do not feel right.  I have been on fludrocortisone for the last two months.  I have had irregular vaginal bleeding three times
in the last month.  My gyn wants to put me on progesterone due
to my age 45.  I know progesterone is bad for liver as is birth
control.  My question what is causing the bleeding could it be
per-menapause or mabye cortistone.  I am worried sick about it.

Talk to your ob about the patch.  If you are a nonsmoker with no history of heart disease, the risks are minimal and my ob informed me that it is not as hard on the liver as the pill.
