There is nothing more beautiful than the life itself. Appreciate every moment of it. Do not be apprehensive of the future live every second to the end. Keep the hope alive and nobody can change your destiny.

Only the good die young is an understatement
Not everyone makes it to 50 either. The majority yes, not all.
Take care all !!!
you understood exactly what my point was.
bottom line is most people die with HCV NOT from it. and that is after they live a normal life span.
should worry more about other things that will kill you when young, i.e. cancer, etc.
HCV is not typically one of them.
Since only the good die young we'll alll be around here forever.
I came on to post that and just read Trin and thought ha yes we all are very like minded indeed :D
And yes 50/60 is WAY too young to die anyhow for any reason.
New meds or not we'll be just fine.
Forget about it Bali. Haven't you ever heard the phrase 'only the good die young'?
No worries, you and I will be around for a very long time.
Just kidding,
Trinity
what`s up with the death threats ?
I am infected for 25+ years and stumbled upon it last year by accident.
AVERAGE US life expectancy is at least 80 these days
Pesonally I chose to tx not because I am afraid to die early but rather
in what way this nasty disease can potentially but not necessarily claim its victims.
Well, I didn't read that he said that people DIE after 20 to 30 years.
He said: "typically HCV takes 20-30 years before having any symptoms or liver damage, so it doesn't make people die young. "
Hopefully, that's different.
20 to 30 years from teens & 20s.......... I don't think that is old. I actually don't think that a person is old in their 60s either... not these days.
Diane
I beg to differ..... I think that to die in your 50s is to die young.
Diane
no we all don't die young. Even if the new medicine doesn't come out next year like it is suppose to there are many new drugs being tested for the future. Lots of good things are happening.
