what does this biopsey report mean???

Had my gall bladder removed on nov 28, at the time they did a liver biopsey because sometimes i would have bad liver readings, mostly i would not....this is the summer that i have ( which is what the doctor tells me is all there is to a report)   Liver Biopsy: Acute cholangitis. Portal inflammation ( grade 3) with focal bridging fibrosis ( fibrosis stage 3)   comments: Acute cholangitis is seen in some areas within the liver the portal inflammation has a somewhat granulomatous appearance....This has been a very emotional experiance to say the least....but i seem not to either asking the rite questions or getting the extent of what i have...only thing doctor says i can take is Actigall ( ursodiol) which i have tried on 3 different occations and each time it has made me very ill....can anyone explain any of this to me in a easy to understand way....i do not test for hepititus. they do not know what caused this...never drank or did drugs...for 10 years now they have assumed i had fibermalgia, they have been testing me for everything you can think of....all test they say come out ok....even liver test...except high cholestral. thanks sure could use some help...after reading all the post i think i am even more confused.....just lost brother to brain anurysum, and they thought he had ( he did) barretts desease....we had same gas doctor too.....thanks, kruizenkat, charlene
