white blood cells keep droping

I JUST WENT TO THE DR AND TOLD ME MY WHITE BLOOD CELLS WERE LOW SO THEY REDUCED MY MEDICATION THEN I WENT BACK 12 WEEKS LATER AND THEY DROPPED EVEN LOWER I HAD TO GET AN THIS TREATMNET ***** INJECTION

Did you get an injection of Neupogen?  If so, that's not at all uncommon for people on TX to have to take that to keep their WBCs up.

I'm sorry you have to take another medication but at least your doc is willing to give it to you.  Some docs would rather reduce the TX meds instead and reducing our TX meds is not a good way to go.

So...the Neupogen will help raise your WBCs so that you can stay on TX.

I got the same call today.  ANC dropped below 500 again.  I am travelling this weekend and had taken my shot early, otherwise I would have had to reduce to 135 mcg.  They are ordering Neupogen and I will start taking it as soon as the pharmacy sends it.  I've avoided it all these weeks but my whites just keep getting lower & lower.  Pitfall of treatment.  It's a good thing we have these rescues.  Don't worry, you'll be OK.  What's one more shot anyway.

Good thing you had taken your shot early. You do know Comeagain's doctor lets him go down to 300, don't you? Hoping you will get Neupogen soon enough to not have to reduce your dose.
