hi there,
i am currently on birth control so i know exactly when i am about to recieve my period every month. i am on a 21 day cycle of pills, when i got through the first week of pills i started bleeding... its not completely heavy like a period but is really dark and comes at times. i am also receiveing diarrea (diarrhea)! im worried because i dont know why i am bleeding so early into my cycle!

as I recall birth control pills can have what they call "break through bleeding", not to worry, but tell your gynecologist in case you need a stronger dose.  Like the previous answer said this is for people with hepatitis, how the heck you ended up here asking about birth control and diarrhea is beyond me.  Try some other forums listed under medhelp.org

I tried to find a joke to paste here, but my daughter is after me to hurry up so we can run the errand, so here it is in a nutshell:

I guess I qualify as an "oldie" (bummer) :) I'm hoping that we're seeing less of the previous "oldies" because they are cured and off living a fantastic life !!  I also miss talk of the "tender petals of the south lawn" and of course, Indy's "big tree" (S'pose there's any truth to that?)  There are alot of us still here......just giving the young'uns a chance to talk and offering help if we can.  
I'm a little concerned about Galen's new photo........thought it was ME for a minute!  That's why I haven't posted a picture :)  Don't want to scare anyone.  Hello to all you "oldies" out there.  Take a minute to say HI and let us know how you are doing!

That's tough to tell, Timbo.  This one has chased both Indy and me.  (Not many "He"s chase me these days, even though I can't run fast on tx.)  The badger moved here after Ground Hog Day this year.  If he thinks we have milder winters here, the joke's on him, though... and there are VERY few other badgers homesteading here.  Plenty of skunks, few badgers.  That would make an interesting pairing.

it's so good there's some oldies here--but think: a lot of folks have cleared and gone beyond.  there's just no time in some healthy lives&lives..i think nearly everyone that has cleared does stop in from time to time.  remembering,  --&recollections,  it's a kindness. it's good that some of us go beyond...for more than i a year i was here daily...often three and four times a day--i can skip some days now...de-toxing from the anti depressant.  if i could ever  have a moment to shine something: i'd shine a happy life on all of you here and now, and those to come.

off the wall questions huh ? yep -  identifying the sexual preferences of  badgers is pretty far out there..Been wandering about this for years. I have 3 dogs, two boys and one girl (all in middle age by now). One of the girls and the boy like each other - but the two girls always hang out together, eat out of the same bowl, chase the cat together, won't let  him come in the dog house unless it's *really* cold and generally ignore him. Is this normal middle-aged coexistence between the sexes or should I be taking the poor guy in for post-abandonment conseling?

Believe me we are patient, and you can count on us for answers to hep C related stuff.  And we do take turns reminding the newbs that we only get 6 threads per day (unfortunately there is no permanent place to post this info).  And we answer the questions (wish there was a FAQ frequently asked questions place on this forum but there isnt), over and over again.  It's just when we get strange questions that obviously dont belong here we lose a bit of our tempers.  We havent had a good hair pulling, name calling, fists flying kinda thread here for ages!
I think we have been quite polite and calm, considering the grief we go through treating this disease.  Well I have to go now, must find some better joke material!  Toodles,for now. We arent usually angry at anyone, just the dang HEP C!!

I can see what you all mean....How does a womens only thread turn into a gay Badger thread? I'm baffled. This was NOT my fault....THIS time.
How the Badger turned gay was totally MY fault. It used to be a "normal" creature. Just out in the woods doing normal "Badger stuff". Then I went on tx and everything changed. I started having skin problems. I read all the sites trying to get some relief. I was also CONSUMED by "Brain Fog". I happened upon the Hepatitus (hepatitis) A-Z site. They suggested "Badger Balm" as a possible remedy for skin problems. This prompted a LONG drawn out affair that took up several threads with me trying to get some "Badger Balm" from the Badger. (Does everyone know that they have SHARP teeth and claws?) I tried everything. The Badger would NOT give it up. So...another GREAT Indy plan was formed. I decided to sneak up on it and milk it like a cow when it was sleeping. GREAT PLAN!! But...as with all my great plans, something went tragically wrong. I began going to the lair at midnight every night to "Milk" the Badger. (does everyone know that they are REALLY furry?) I tried and tried but wasn't getting much Badger Balm. Finally it HIT me.....It was a MALE badger!! I was HORRIFIED!!! I had been trying to milk a male badger for weeks!! Of course, I syopped immediately. But,sad to say, my misguided efforts had turned him gay. He started to come right up to the house and want his "milking"!! He would even meet me at my work truck in the morning! He was insatiable! Of course, I had to shun his advances. This touroughly pissed him off! He began a war on me that lasted until Groundhog Day last year when he saw some HOT groundhog babes and moved to MajNenis' area. THAT is another story.
So....if you ever notice a badger looking at you with a "sparkle" in his eye or wanting a "milking"....you will know right away that he's gay. (That...and the little shorts he wears with the open butt) And it's all MY fault!! (sob)

How's THAT for a story?????????????

I like you didn't understand all the rules here....but I can tell ya w/ all these people complaining about using too much space and asking lots of same questions....I use the archives box beside the comment box ALOT! The Roomba was Galen's robotic vacuum cleaner that ran around the room snarfing up dust. She raved about it when she first got it (as did Oprah).

Willing- maybe I'm all messed up, but I though my last shot was Christmas eve eve and the last pill was New Year's eve eve. I better do the math. Great to hear you're closing in on the end too.

You all seem perky for a bunch of sick people.  This is Pegasys week one for me and I don't feel more puky than perky.. but, then, I guess seeing all this stuff from all you oldies... I guess it gives me hope of better days to come. Thanks :) Sure hope I get my laugh back soon...
