Strator?

Strator?

I haven't been on here in ages, and I was just thinking about some of the oldies but goodies.  Does Strator every pop in here anymore?  :)
I've been lurking this morning and it's good to see so many familiar names!

Haven't heard from him in months.  Miss his stories. The guy has writing talent. He's kinda in your neck of the wood if I remember correctly.  How's things with you?  Don't you have a baby date near?  Sorry if I mis-remembered.

I haven't seen him either and miss him too.

Gosh a baby in 7 weeks - how exciting oh boy what I wouldn't do to go back in time and smell the top of my own babies heads and hold them again (instead of yelling and screaming GET UP! The bus is coming! Do your homework!) and smelling my son's dirty gym socks hahahaha.

Sometimes I miss the "baby" part of my children so much it's like a punch in my stomach.  I know they are the 'same' people now but something inside just wants to see them little again so so so much - it really feels like they were not the same people at all. Boy that sounds like it makes no sense I hope you know what I mean.

Enjoy it.  Labor sucks but man is it worth the prize at the end :)

Hey! So good to see your posts and hear about your good news. Eric finished tx too - did well.  We go back in on Monday for a followup - I think of you every time I pass the Dairy Queen :-)

You get to enjoy that same baby part when you become a grandmother, but it's even better because you are not responsible for them. You can just love them, spoil them and give them back. It's the best part of parenthood. Some people say, if I had known being a grandparent was so wonderful I would have had them first.

Amommy: I didn't know Strator. I have only been on the forum about a year and I just finished tx last week. I hope he comes back. He sounds like a great contributor . Good luck with your baby.

My current story: Finished Part Two a couple of weeks ago and will have a pcr about the time that you are 'birthin' that baby'.  I've been around here too long and your adventures remind me.  I remember when you started, finsished, svr'd and not only given time to flush the junk out of your system but nearing your ultimate goal with another child.  Where does the time go?  In my mind, you are one of the real happy success stories in the annals of hcv.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!  It is really good to hear from you ALL!!!  Maybe a few more oldies but goodies will pop in and say hi :)
I am glad to hear your update FLGuy.  Praying for very good PCR results.  I'll definitely be checking in on you.  You and everyone else around here deserves it!  You are very right about time flying by.  It is very surreal.  And once you are off of tx, you will be happy to know things DO feel better AND time goes faster, in a good way.
NY girl, how are you doing?  I am sure with teenager types you ache for the easy baby days.  Isn't that always teh way?  Hope you are doing well!
Dancegirl, dairy queen has been my friend during this pregnancy. haha.  I am glad to hear eric did well.  How long ago did he finish?  Any svr stats yet?  I will keep him and you in my thoughts!
GrandmaA, my parents completely agree with you that being a grandparent is the best!  Glad you are enjoying :)
Elaine, thank you so much!  I'll be sure to keep you all posted.  I am praying for a quick and safe labor and delivery too.  Had a c/s with dd and hoping to NOT have one this time.  :)

Aw, a little guy or girl on the way!  So much more preferable to putting poison in the body!  Nice to see you doing well, getting on with your life.  I miss Strator and some of the old ones that don't post any more.....Strator was also an awesome artist.  He posted a link to some of his artwork once, too.

Eric finished in early August - as we know there are no guarantees - he has a 3 and 6 mo followup and they say if he is the same at 6 ,os it's a prtty good indicator - he is young, he was UND so early(2 weeks) - all good signs.  He just went in today AST and ALT were 18/21 and still UND!!!!!!!!!!  He feels great!
