1 mos Post PCR Lab Results

Hello to everyone!

I just opened my first 1 month post tx PCR lab results and think I am UND.  It reads like this:

HCV RNA, PCR, QT (LOG IU/ML....................<1.70 log IU/mL(<1.70)

HCV RNA, PCR, QT (IU/ML)............................<50 IU/mL(<50)

WBC and ANC are both a little low still.

WBC 3.1         Normal is 3.8 - 10.8
ANC 1060        Normal is 1500 - 7800

The RBC and Hemoglobin are looking good.

RBC 4.19
Hemoglobin 13.2

I am feeling good 1 month post tx.  Basically back to normal.

Please confirm that the PCR test is UND.

Tomorrow is my daughters high school graduation and it is finally here!

The heck with all the other results. That pcr really, most sincerely is undetected. Two commencements in your family.

yes that means UND.. thats the same results I got on mine..   If they do the Qualitative, it will show the words UND.. so when you go for your 6 month, and you want to see the Words UNDETECTED then have them run the Qualative and not the Quanitative.

UND at 4 weeks!!! The prognosis doesn't get any better. That is the best you can be. You are nearly sure to SVR if you complete TX.

Whew that is such a relief!

Next time I will get the qualitative so I can see the beautiful words UNDECTABLE...

I am the Walrus - I am finished with tx; those results are my first 4 wk PCR after finishing tx.  I have to take a 3 mos one next time and then a 6 mos one.

I am going into this graduation elated for so many reasons!
