1 year post tx labs are in...

by TeeVee36, Jun 16, 2009 08:16PM
Hi all, just checkin in and adding to the list of all the SVR's posted - I got my 1 yr post tx labs back and I am still SVR!When the Dr. told me at the 6 mos post tx appt that I was cured he really meant it.  Now I only go once a yr for my labs!  I never minded blood draws until tx; I was okay in the beginning but by the end it really started to get to me and I hated having to get labs drawn.  It became painful, I was so sensitive to the sticks...

I year later, life is better than ever.  I began AD's after tx due to depression and anxiety setting in when tx ended.  I am now almost off of my AD's and feel fantastic.  I did suffer thyroid damage and see an endo for that.  It was suspected that I had a sluggish thryroid from the get go so I guess it is not a result of the tx but I know that tx didn't help it any.

This was a great place to come to when I was tx'ing and see so many new people here now.  I have drifted off like some others but still check in from time to time to see how everyone is doing.

The tx works, it really does...and when you are finished you will feel better each week and before you know it a whole year will have passed - a glorious year!

Keep fighting the fight!

Peace,

TV

Thanks for checking in Tee Vee;  I'm pleased you can relax even easier knowing that the dragon is not only dead, but well and truly buried!!!!   I'm 6 months post, and looking forward to being able to say I'm a year post.   Well done :-)

Hi Doll,

Eee gads, it is good to hear from you.  You are an inspiration.  I am so happy for your significant gratification.  A new life with a new realization - that you kick dragon butt.  This is the accomplishment you worked so hard for.  I think we all learned the meaning of faith going through this treatment even if we didn't SVR.  Your success gives me, us, so much hope and motivation.  I am proud of you.  I am also happy that I came to know your compassionate heart and am grateful you are in my world fellow warrior!

I remember all the times you talked me through my riba psychotic attacks.  You understood going through lapses of sanity yourself.  The comfort you extended to me by just listening and then mirroring your own experience got me through so many days.  You are not only incredibly interesting but funny - I love how you would laugh through tears - It was so hard.

I am sorry that you ever had Hep but I am glad I met you through this awesome web site.

Thanks TV, you rock.

Just thrilled to hear you got SVR. My Dr. said really no need for a year test, at the 6mths. one, but I am still going to soon, for my own final end to Hep and tx.

So happy life is good and back to normal, or better for you. I can't thank you enough for your post to my threads and support through out my tx.

We all are so happy for every SVR we see here, and so heartbroken for all that do not get this news. How we wish this for everyone here!

Have a great life Hep free, Tee Vee, congratulations!

Hugs, Lauri
