Hey there - I'm pretty sure from everything i've heard that it is normal to have rashes. I think the Aveno and goldbond products are helpful and oatmeal baths.

I'm right behind you - starting next week....

Very Normal  to have rashes. Just be glad your not itching and scratching for 5 months like I have been. I have little red rashes (minimal) on my legs and arms.
Try the goldbond creme it helps and if you start tp itch bad Benadryl creme or antihistimine.

Feel better.

Hi Kimmy,  well done on starting the tx.  I'm at week 11 now.  I started to get a rash on my stomach, at the injection sites almost immediately and on my hands, back and face.  I've started to use Eucerin cream with 15% Urea, and find it helps alot.

Take care,

Lot's of lotion!! I got the rash on my back, right inbetween the shoulder blades....I look pretty funny trying to put lotion on in the morning. =)
Wishing you all the best!

Gold Bond Triple Threat Anti Itch Medicated Lotion (green bottle, red top).

Once the rash goes away - do NOT stop using the lotion or it will unfortunately come back.  It's just one of the sides from the riba that we get.

Lotion up several times a day and in two or three days the rash will be gone and you will be MUCH happier!

Yah the rash is normal.. I had it on my belly near and around the shot sites, and also on my lower back area.   Alway felt like I must look like I am scratching my a55  .. LOL I still have darker area there from the scaring of the rash, but I still put Eucerin on it, and its clearing up.  I had to get some stuff from my dermatologist  TRIAMCINOLON for the rash.  Nothing was helping.. I must have tried them all.. I have a whole shelf full of all kinds of remedies I was given to try.. LOL  I am so glad its over and the rash is gone.

Well keep it up, and I hope it passes fast for you and the sx are minimal ..

Its doable !!!!
