6 MONTHS Post TX Lab " UNDETECTED" !

Hey all , Its been a while since I have been on here and I apologize.   Trying to catch up on life and make ends meet.   I just received my 6 month post tx labs back and they came back "negative" "undetected"  , so I just wanted to share the hope with you all.   Keep the Faith and move forward !    Gastro said I have to be tested in 6 more months at a year and then I will be done !   Praying for all.   Livinontheedge ,   Carrie   xoxoxoxoxo

I'm so very happy for you! Thank you very much for coming back to share this excellent news with us all. Somehow, every time one more friend reaches SVR, I feel as if my own odds have just been boosted – it's that powerful of an encouragement!

My Dr will do another PCR at one year after my 6 month post PCR. She assures me it will be negative, then I get an official letter from her declairing me cured. Then I can get life ins ect... any body else heard of that? Congrats on SVR!!!!

Congrats to you, you Mighty Dragon Slayer!
But I have never heard of a viral load test, 12 months post Tx, especially since your profile says you were only at Stage 2, grade 2, etc.
I had heard it was 3 month SVR for non-cirrhotic, 6 month SVR for cirrhotics?
Either way, a 6 month post Tx Und is definitely an SVR, you did it! *high fives you :)
