6 wk PCR's and a BIG Thank You

Well...I'm UND at week 6.
YIPEE!!!
My hgb is @ 10.6 right now... no complaints.
I have felt fairly well so far during tx. I did have a rough bout with migraines but, Imitrex did the trick for me. ( FYI... IYI... I believe the headaches were triggered by a hormonal flux of the Interferon and my monthly cycle)
I really don't feel like eating. Everything has a weird after taste that turns me off. I did venture out of my box some and tried some ganja. Been 20+ years since I've done it, but it helps my appetite some what and it levels my mood. If I smoke it, I only do like 3 hits, at the most, in a day. I'm a light weight! Which is fine by me since I've NO intention of starting a life habit of it. A 1/4 oz lasts me a little over a month. Significantly cheaper than the red wine I LOVED to drink prior to tx!!

I had little to no liver damage going in to tx which left me wondering how long to wait till I tx. Luckily for me I was able to take a little time and buy a home and get settled in to it beforehand.
But, as much as I wanted for life to slow down and give me the 'PERFECT' time frame to tx.... it never happened. We had the family all prepped and I was ready to start when my husband got called away for an extended time. So, I am going it alone with my adult children close by, but living thier own lives, and me at home with our 4 year old.

I mention all of the above because I know I read posts on here for 2 years before commiting to tx. I know that there are many others out there like me, trying to decide whether or not to tx and when to start tx.

The fear is not knowing how YOU will respond.

But, if you empower yourself with solid information and educate yourself enough to know the kind of questions to ask your doc, what kind of tests need to be run, etc. etc. you CAN go into tx feeling confident in the care you will be provided.
It was people on here like NyGirl, jmjm, orphanedhawk, and MANY others that I was ableto gain enough knowledge to not feel AS scared.

For that I will be FOREVER grateful.

Thank you!!
