Hi. Can you tell me how long the rash lasted? Is there anything that can be done to make it go away?

Thanks

Don't take prednisone like diner1972 suggested.  It will swell your body up and make you retain a ton of water weight.  I took it for a really bad chest infection and had to stop, I almost went into cardiac arrest.

Yes, I had an allergic reaction to it,  I didn't know what it was until I ran out of it and stopped taking it and the itching and rashes all over my body went away.

I had no issue with 500mg Acai   but the 1000mg dose cause me to develop a itchy welt like rash where ever my clothing fit tightly.  A shame really in light of its fat burning stimulation at the 1000mg dosing which is nothing short of phenomenal. I am not certain but I believe a certain vitamin increases absorption substantially when take together.   Its so hard to figure out which one as I take so many. It took several weeks to figure out it was the acai giving me the rash because once you get the rash it puts you into allergy mode and causes allergies to other substances until its out of your system.

Same kind of reaction. Very itchy and widespread allergic skin reaction. Now I can no longer take many other supplements like bilberry and grape seed. Really don't want to stop taking them, but the acai seems to have sensitized my system. In my 53 years I have never had a reaction to any supplement or food until this.
