Alternative treatments might be able to keep the virus down for some people, as they are waiting to treat at a later date.
I have personally not taken any of the alternative medicines, as I want to start treatment soon and one shouldn't mix them together.

Government reactions
In August 1999 The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a ruling banning colloidal silver sellers from claiming any therapeutic value for the product. Unless a drug has undergone the rigorous safety and efficacy testing required of pharmaceuticals no medical benefits can be claimed. Such testing has not been conducted with colloidal silver, so the product now has the status of a dietary supplement in the US (dietary supplements cannot claim to cure diseases, only that they "support healthy functioning").[19] The FDA has issued warnings to Internet sites selling or promoting colloidal silver as an antibiotic or for other medical purposes.[20] If no medical benefits are claimed, colloidal silver is sold as a supplement, and as long as the products comply with all other FDA regulations, its sale is considered legal.[21] In 2002, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration ruled that colloidal silver-containing products were no longer exempted from therapeutic goods legislation and had to meet the requirements of other products covered by this law. A TGA investigation found that "there are no current legitimate uses of colloidal silver and that the Surveillance Section of the TGA be requested to investigate the illegal availability of colloidal silver products because of concerns about their significant toxicity. The reasons for the recommendation were that:
"There is little evidence to support therapeutic claims made for colloidal silver products; the risk to consumers of silver toxicity outweighs the value of trying an unsubstantiated treatment, and bacterial resistance to silver can occur; and efforts should be made to curb the illegal availability of colloidal silver products, which is a significant public health issue." .[22]
Medicinal silver is most often sold as colloidal silver protein (CSP). In a recent case report, a 56-year-old man noticed a blue discoloration under his fingernails.1 He had been taking CSP supplements daily for 3 years, in hopes of preventing colds and allergies. The diagnosis was argyria, a blue-black tinting of the skin and mucous membranes caused by a build-up of silver. Numerous similar cases have been reported in recent years.2,3
In argyria, silver deposited in the body reacts with the sun through a process similar to that of the development of a photographic negative. This leads to permanent discoloration of the skin. Changes may be seen in the eyes, lips, and nose as well.
The condition was even more common in decades past, when CSP was an accepted medical treatment. Fortunately, argyria is seldom dangerous, although in some cases nerve damage may occur.
Under current law, supplements may not be taken off the market until they are proven dangerous. Thus, it is up to consumers to protect themselves. We advise that you avoid products containing CSP unless you don't mind turning permanently blue! "
the nano is in nano particles... and more potent...
I guess one would turn blue even faster with the nano...
I would stay away from this stuff... and it is definitely NOT medicine for hep C...
I tried quite a few things before doing conventional treatment, and sadly, txing is the only thing so far that gives you a shot (no pun intended!) at killing this dragon...If you can't treat, or have relapsed and just want to buy some time while waiting for something better, I can suggest trying what I did to improve (or at least slow) liver damage...I used a Japanese hepatitis treatment called SST (sho-saiko-to), -called Hepzone in the USA..It brought my viral load down 1 log value and my liver enzymes returned to normal...Not everyone can take this though, and certainly NOT anyone on treatment...Good luck in your search...~Melinda (Geno 3a, UND with 6 month post pending...)
If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

When I took it ,it was at least 5 years before I got diagnosed

Right now I'm holding an off-the-shelf medical product that would not have existed five years ago. What is it? It's the Curad Silver natural antibacterial bandages. Yes, I have a box of 30 bandages that have the word "silver" prominently mentioned on the front cover. Now, it is actually good science and good medicine to use silver as an antibacterial agent. Silver -- colloidal or ionic silver, silver in solution -- is a potent antibacterial product. It has been demonstrated as such for well over 100 years. But the amazing thing about Curad Silver bandages and the fact they exist is that the FDA has allowed it. For decades, the FDA has been on a crusade to criminalize anyone who tried to sell silver for medicinal use. In fact, they conducted operation "Clean Sweep" a few years ago, in an attempt to put all the silver companies out of business.
