My son went on the cave man diet, no wheat, grains or dairy. You can eat nuts, veggies, meat, and fruit. He lost weight and gained energy.
Wheat and dairy slow many people down.
BTW: I have a juicer. I juice fresh ginger root to use for tea or in cooking.
my girlfriend recently started juicing. when i saw her 2 weeks later i couldn't help but notice how great her skin looked! i'd do it if i wasn't on tx. best wishes. belle
I should have noted that I am not on therapy for Hep C at this time. I wouldn't recommend that anyone on therapy do any sort of fasting.
James, glad that you saw the movie. I think a lot of people who have seen it find it inspiring. I did and I went ahead and ordered a juicer. What I really want to find out is if I get that boost of energy that so many speak of and, shedding 20 lbs. would be fine too. Also, I'll have another use for the veges I grow.
Thanks everyone.
As nauseous as I've been juice set my gut on fire. I do drink a 5 oz of fresh OJ each day because it's so good for you. I drink alot of vanilla milk too. I can't deal with any other diet than the one I'm on. The Do What Works Diet :) LOL
I saw the movie agree a great thing for those guys and people that are overweight. I tried juice only for two days, we have a juicer, the juice was good. The problem was it was hard for me to get enough calories to support the amount of exercise I do. I am not overweight. I continue to juice but not as a sole source of food. I love apple, orange, lemon, kiwi, and kale tastes so good. The movie was very inspiring, as a good health message not only for weight loss.
Juice fasting definitely isn't something I'd recommend while doing treatment.
It makes sense for an obese person but like most things, may not be for everyone.
better ask your study nurse. i'm not sure about juice fasting. best wishes. belle
