If you have a need for lactulose why wouldn't you just have a doctors prescription?

I have read that inulin can be used. It's a powder you would add to a drink or whatever you like.
I hope this helps. Also taking probiotics has shown to be beneficial.
There was a study posted a few years back on the cirrhosis forum by MikeSimon
