If you are concerned about your diet why not consider a better food regiment during your treatments? I didn't have much of a appetite during my 48 weeks and lost some weight because of that. You'll learn to face and deal with each obstacle you encounter during your treatment, and even a small correction toward healthier diet will improve your overall health and give you needed encouragement for the side effects and **** that will come.

You can do it!

It is usually suggested to take your Riba with some type of fat because it increases absorption.  This can be healthy fat...olive oil, coconut oil...stuff like that.

Unfortunatley, I chose ice cream...it was yummy.  But I have yet to lose any weight and my triglycerides are high.  Oops.

Seriously though, I found that my body dictated what my diet was.  Sometimes the thought of food is unappealing, sometimes all you want (in my case anyway) was fruit.  Or there was the spinach pizza kick I went on.  Or the watermelon twizzlers.  The thought of eating anytype of meat....uck.

Bottom line-it is a crazy time food-wise...just try to make healthy choices and make sure you keep your fluid intake up.  For me, water was a life saver. It could pretty much take the edge off of any sx I had.  (except fatigue/crabbiness)

Good luck to you, please keep us posted,

Isobella
