Beginning week 4 and feeling great

Beginning week 4 and feeling great

I did shot #4 tonight. I am doing great so far.  No sx yet.  I have a problem drinking water though.  Can't seem to drink enough during the day.  I start the day with good intentions, but I seem to get busy and forget to drink. Any suggestions? Do I really need to drink all that water?  Thanks!!

So glad you're still feeling good! If you don't have side effects from not drinking the water then I guess it's ok. Someone with more knowledge will probably contradict me. I have to drink the water or my head feels like cotton when I wake up and my eyes are glued shut and dried out. Also, for me the water helps my queasy feeling. You are doing great! Hope it continues to be a breeze. When do you get your labs drawn? What week does your dr. test pcr?
Take care

I had blood drawn last fri which was 2 weeks into my treatment. but won't get the results until Feb 12th.  I'm not that familiar with all the jargon so I guess I will more then.

You can also drink Juices, gatorade, de-caffinated teas Just make sure you fill in with water what you dont drink in the other things, and with non-caffinated drinks as caffine seems to dehydrate you. The main thing is that you don't get dehydrated.
Glad to hear you are having not much in the sides issue.

Water is very important.  The treatment dries you out terribly.  Maybe you won't experience it.  I drink a minimum of 8 glasses and sometimes up to 13 or 14 glasses a day.  If I don't my mouth is like cotton and eyes are terribly dry.  Sounds as if you are going good with no sides.

glad to hear that you're not having any sx.  just try to keep a bottle of water with you at all times, then it just becomes natural. i drank some water before tx but was definitely a diet dr pepper addict. i now only have 1-2 a day. i carry water in my car, i keep one my bed, one on the kitchen counter and one on a table in my family room.  it helps me to drink it doing it that way.  hope things stay good for you!
