Connie Culp Face Transplant Story

Not sure how many have been following the "Connie Culp" story. The story of a woman shot by her husband in the face resulting in massive facial disfigurement and finally a  face transplant. I found her attitude in light of such adversity very inspirational. Note that the article has both "before" and "after" pictures of the face transplant surgery that some may find uncomfortable.

I didn't take the time yet to read your posted link but I did see her interview on TV.  I was speechless both about how she came to lose her face and about the prognosis with her new face.  Amazing.

I also saw her interview and am amazed at her positive outlook.  I hope it works out OK for her
