Damn Cold Sores

Question

10th injection yesterday and another cold sore. It seems like I have had a constant cold sore since I started treatment. Any miracle cures?

If it is a sore red crack at the corner of your mouth with no blisters Vagisil works great on it. I know this sounds weird but it really works.

im also told that if u eat raw local honey, herpes outbreaks are less. good luck buddy.

Nice to know. They seem to come and go. Not really sure why. I just took my 22 injection this morning. 2 left.

my doc put me on probitoics and it went away in few days

Besides lysine supplements you can avoid acidic food, and eat lots of parsley, high in lysine.
If they're really problematic you can get a prescription for triamcinolone acetonide dental paste. It's expensive but works well.

L-lysine supplements worked for me.  Don't know if you can take it on tx but you can get it in a topical cream.

Well, if it is a genuine cold sore caused by the herpes simplex virus then one of the antidotes for that is acyclovir.  However you should ask your study doc to get you access to a proper diagnosis - maybe see a dermatologist.  Also, you might need permission for any drugs that you want to use while on a study.
