Doc with a sense of humor

Board is quiet today, so I'll share this little story, so after all the stress of this last year and a half, hubby goes to the family doc for semi-annual "check-up" today.  Family doc walks in and says to h "well now that you're probably going to live longer than 5 years we better talk about a colonoscopy".  My h didn't know whether to laugh or cry.  I just said to h "well, you've been CT scanned, MRI scanned, ultrasounded and biopsied and to top it off you've had a camera shoved down your throat to your gosh knows where, the only thing they haven't done is shove a camera going the other way and now you're getting that done" (loving wifey that I am).

I think your dr went to the Ladybug Foot in Mouth Course! Sometimes gallows humor is appreciated, I think it was kind of funny, but, I have little knowledge of what's appropriate! Your response was funny-what's one more probe in one more hole?

I'm  so bad and so behind on everything! Those cards.... still in the plastic bag! My latest is getting copies of pictures to send with, course have to get film developed first. The list of good intentions gone awry is endless! Yes about friend, he's a doll and I'll discuss that more later.
