Ease up on sonic you guys or he'll be gone as quickly as Hepsearcher. Geesh, since he's revealed his profession there's been a steady stream of questions - mostly general ones I might add that can be answered by virtually everyone's docter. He'll be gone in the blink of an eye if we abuse him.
NY... LoL... You ought to go sailing!!!! Whew Hoo!!
My meeting was fabulous.... my grandson was horrible to travel with, but the meeting itself made everything worth while... at least he SLEPT all the way home & it was later than we had intended!
I've personally met 2 folks & some of their families from these boards now, (last Oct was the first time I met up with anyone)... & I have to say I have not been disappointed, or nervous in the least!
I have talked with these people & exchanged pictures for so many years, that it was like extended family, & picking up where we last left off... (which is usually like the day before on the net)...LoL
It's pretty awesome to actually recognize the person & already have much in common, & shared so many prior conversations!
Now If I could have just picked out a better restaurant over the net...& my grandson would have behaved... it would have been perfect...LoL.. but still no regrets... & the food was good... it was just more cafeteria style vs being waited on... & we wound up putting my grandson in a booster seat vs a high chair (which he has NEVER sat in one before)... so he was grabbing everything with in reach Thus making eating an actual juggling act.. & he wouldn't eat... & then he started LOUNGING back in his seat & trying to stick his feet & toes on the table...LoL
She brought him some presents... but he only played with the car at the table, but today he thinks it's CHRISTMAS...LoL
It's funny, he actually was all & all a pretty good boy in the resterant (& that was the one thing I was ever originally worried about)... Turns out it was the drive down there that was so aweful... he cried the whole way (didn't like be confined to his car seat).. he wouldn't go to sleep & we had to make 2 unplanned stops to walk him around & calm him down... making the 2 hour trip a little over 3 hours, & we were FRAZZLED by the time we arrived!
Ugg.. But was it worth it..?? Heck YES... Even my better half said meeting them was so enjoyable, that it made everthing worth while..& we all had a such Great Time, .. you'd of never known we were all actually meeting for the first time...& THANKFULLY..not 10 minutes after we left He was ZONKED to the world giving us peaceful closure for the evening... Whew!

was just saying on another post that I had taken a break from here, but in order to get back on I had to re-register...this time, they wanted a profile...I thought, hmmmm, that'll make it harder on the people who come on with different names, but not real hard! ha ha! Anyway, they asked that I upload a picture, now or later...I said later...so I'm wondering if they are fixin to do a picture gallery here, or smoosh it next to our names up there...I figure if you don't want to put your picture, at least one of you pet or something? I just wonder where this pic gallery is? :) I really don't guess what people look like most of the time, but I do guess their hair color for some reason....

Our boat is in Westport Connecticut near the train station and 95 so it is easy to get there from anywhere in NY by car or train. the weather has been good for sailing and the water is getting warm now.

How nice for you all...and I know a nice bachelor that lives in Westport (and here half of the time) but maybe that's for another time, ha ha,...please go and tell us how it was like...Westport is beautiful, though I've only seen it in pictures...

youre right, we don't want "resident burnout" :) I just want to know an expert's opinion of the new drugs whenever I can, cause it's such a confusing subject, but I'll back off...wise observation....
I didn't think about that when I posted the question, but you are correct in what you say.
My problem is that I see a well known doctor and rarely get to see him directly. I usually only get to see assistants; so it is rare to get the chance to ask someone this knowledgeable about the new drugs.
