What are the symptoms of a Hepatitis infection?

Ipersonally did not have any symptoms, but was diagnosed "by accident" when looking for rheumatoid arthirtis.  The link below may help.  And I am sure others will chime in.

the test came back "Fine", according to the doctor.  However, do the doctors have to specifically test for Hepatitis to get a determination?

Liver function tests can give an overview of how the liver is processing and manufacturing; however, it does not check for either the presence of viral hepatitis antibodies or the active virus itself. About 30% of Hep C patients will have an active infection while testing positive for the virus. If you’re concerned, ask your doctor for a hepatitis panel that includes antibody testing for Hep B and C. Hepatitis A has definite acute symptoms, and is self resolving.
