Females re: blood type

i am curious, as to who this may also apply.  i have Rh negative blood type.  during childbearing years during any pregnancy miscarriage or full term i was given immunoglobulin (spelling) shots 2x during each full term preganancy, worry if baby blood different than mine mixed and antibodies would form causing autoimmune stuff etc... wasn't till i discovered the hep c and asked that i found that this product i was given was from human blood supply - i was never told...

are there any others posting who have ever had to to immonoglobulin injections?  just curious as i certainly had many other opportunities for ports of entry on this hep c thing.

I am RH- and I had a shot in 1984.  I don't know how I got HepC.  Maybe that was it.

i too had 2 kids 1990 and 1992. also had the injections .
maybe they tested it by then?

Sorry to hear you are having difficulties. I'm at week 36 and not losing anymore hair. I just wash and wear it. Remember that hat place where you can get a turban? I did get one. Don't buy the caps if you have a big head. One was too small. I had to send it back. Was it headcovers.com?

ny girl been meaning to talk to you i keep losing hair stressing me out i need to look for some affordable wig that i like --not via internet. i dont like big hair look wont ruin new hair i got lots of fuzzies  sometimes wild like phil spector look ha ha

guess not much to my other quest. just that it is yet another port of entry. also did anyone know that not all dental offcies know how to use the autoclave  is propery? some put too much instrmeny to the device for it to work correctly i was told by my htgenist is also instructor

Great question! I'm rh negative with 4 rh positive kids. One night when the nurse was going to give me the rhogram, I told her that the lady she wanted was in the bed next to me! Too bad the lady woke up, and I had to take the shot:) Hope you're doing good. I'm so busy now that I have the energy to get out and about. (out and about= work!)

A- here, two sons, two shots..77 & 82. they are supposed to be a source of contamination but like you said, in my case much likely it was the obvious route.........

I'm the 2nd born child of an RH neg. mother and an RH pos. father and I was supposed to be blue, but I wasn't. My life is a miracle. That was in 1942. They didn't know how to change the blood then. Sorry I don't know about the shots you mentioned.
