Finished 45 weeks

Question

I could not do another week.  The plan was to do 48 wks. but about 5 or 6 wks ago things got really busy at work.  No matter how tired I got the insomnia would not let up and when sleep would come it was just one horrible nightmare after another.  It seemed like I had met my saturation limit of interferon and rib.  My doctor was ok with me stopping at that point.  That was almost two weeks ago.  There is still a lot of brain fog but everything else is getting better. 

There are some very kind people on this forum who gave help and encouragement at the right times.

I know you had a tough treatment. It is great that you made it to 45 weeks. Hopefully that will be enough to eradicate the virus. Glad you are feeling a bit better now. As the weeks go by, you should improve daily and, little by little, get back to feeling your normal self again.

Hi,  

So are you SVR or a non-responder at this point?  Are you considering taking some of the newer, easier to deal with drugs that are out now? 

What do you mean by a&e?

I will confess to you of having some bouts of "Riba Rage".  That is probably a lot like panic attacks.  But the funny thing is that my wife got most of the other side affects for me.  There for awhile she could not do, think or say anything right.  Lol.  It is a good thing that she is such a tolerant woman.

Hi you done well. I only lasted 10 weeks of 48 weeks. My specialist advised me to stop.  I was having panic attacks all day and every day.  Ending up on a & e most days.   But on my 8 week test my viral load had reduced to 92 so why did she not try to persuade me to go on to week 12 . . You will probably b find good luck
