If you have hep c , can you get a flu shot?

Yes but this years flu shots are not the right strain so I wouldn't waste the time!! You look real good for 107 whats your secret??

sometimes I think I need to come into this century!   I have never had a flu shot. I have always thought they they mess up your immune system!  

Also I always wondered about it with hep c..

Because you have a chronic and life threatening disease...you SHOULD get flu shot every year. Pneumonia shot too if you can get it.

thanks flor the information ,. I just went though having a cold , my bf was really really sick all week I just getting back to work and  not feeling great ,

I did get a flu shot while txing. Though I heard on the news that this year the flu shot only vaccinates against 40% of the bugs that are out there....anybody else hear of this??

yes my Dr highly recommended it.. plus the hep a and B shots they are called twinrix..

Yes and you should get one as soon as possible. The shot takes some time to give you immunity and flu season is here.
