Harvoni Blurry

If you've noticed blurry vision on Harvoni, here's a story. I noticed after a couple of weeks on Harvoni that my vision was so blurry I went to see an optometrist to have my eyes checked. He gave me a prescription. I spent $180 for a pair of glasses so I can read clearly my computer screen.

Now that I am about 14 weeks post Harvoni, I don't need these glasses at all. In fact, when I put them on now and look at my computer screen, it's blurry! I've seen other posts regarding blurry vision. So, hang in there if you're experiencing this, as your vision should revert back to normal. As for the $180 I spent, it served me well at the time...

Sovaldi, part of Harvoni, is known to cause eye problems. I saw an opthamologist before, during, right after, 6 months and a year after Tx to have my eyes checked. I did have some floaters during Tx, but they have gone away.

I have a gel, too.  Used it once or twice, while on tx.  I'll have to use it again.  Thanks for the tip.

Use eye drops with lubricant. They last longer...

Refresh Liquigel Lubricant Eye Drops are what I used...

My problem with blurry vision was on Sol/RIBA and it took a while after I got off the meds, for the blurriness to clear up.  I still believe my vision is not as good as it was pre-treatment, but that could just be wishful thinking and dry eyes.  My ophthalmologist said to use drops to moisturizer my eyes, and that would help, so I am trying to remember to do so.  It does seem to help.
