???

He can pick his nose all he wants he has HCV.
His mother has MRSA.
His mother should have cream to put in her nose , I doubt she will
pick her nose, this is crazy. Since she has MRSA she knows what she needs to do.

His mother should also have a body wash that really helps.

Good luck just keep washing your hands.

I dont think people with Hep C have compromised immune systems, unless they have extensive liver damage. have you ever had a biopsy?
If you do a nasal swab of people that work at hospitals, or around people sick with staph, they do tend to test positive for it. I worked as an attendant, for people confined to wheel-chairs, and many of them had bed sores, or and MRSA. I wore gloves, and washed and washed myhands after work, but I did finally end up getting a rly painful sore right inside my nostril, that didn't reapond to amoxicillin, or prescription antibiotic cream, I had to take a high-powered antibiotic, and after that, I did change jobs. My advice would be careful to never pick your nose, because staph lives on finger-tips. And let your mom know not to touch her cuts or sores, so her fingers remain clean

You should do what anyone would do, wear gloves if you help her
with her wounds.  If you share , say bathtub or stuff like that,
clean with bleach, you don't want to get MRSA that is for sure.

Make sure and wash all clothing , towels etc with bleach if you come
in contact with her skin that has an outbreak.

My daughter and I both have it from the  hospital  either from
when my son was in or when she was in having her baby.
I believe it was after she had her baby.

My daughter had to be hospitalized the last outbreak and she was in
isolation.  They  gave her IV antibiotics.

I got  it from her , helping her not knowing what it was .

Take precautions but if she needs help it's Okay , just wear gloves
and wash  your hands....a lot.

Good luck and wash and wash:)
