Hep C SVR needs Breast Cancer forum for patients like our forum

Hi all.  I have been helped dramatically with a "patient" based forum such as ours where the predominant focus is exchange between patients.  After passing the one-year post tx "test" and remaining Hep C negative, suddenly my wife is diagnosed with Stage IIb Breast Cancer.

Patient forums are much better than doctor based forums because, believe me, it is the pool of patient information about tx, symptoms and experiences that have been the most beneficial for me during this horrible Hep C recovery experience.

Does anyone know of such a Breast Cancer forum?  My wife stuck by me during my Hep C recovery.  Now it is my turn.  Thanks all.

There should be lots of different groups for breast cancer.  That seems to be getting an awful lot of support these days, in the press, support by various companies, etc.  Practically every time you pick up a magazine or newspaper, there's something in there about breast cancer.  Also, their pink ribbon campaign.  They really have no problem with awareness.  So, with all that being in mind, I'm about 99.9% positive that there's message boards for people going through breast cancer.  I wish that there was more awareness out there for Hep C, comparatively speaking, there's very little Hep C awareness.   I am sorry that your wife has breast cancer and I hope that she becomes one of the many survivors of it and that both of you can move on to well and happy and healthy lives.

Charm, I did again check out the breast forum.  It turned out much better than original impression.  Thanks.
Susan, thanks.  The Hep C forums, both types, are excellent, indeed the best forums on the net, IMO.
