Hepatitis C Support Group

Hi Folks, I was asked by the RN that runs this support group to post around a bit.
I truly do believe that being in a support group helps remarkably so I would really like to encourage anyone in the San Francisco Area to check this group out.

Hepatitis C Support Group
Facilitator: Mark Sorensen, RN

The support group will be held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at Quan Yin Healing Arts Center located in Mission district in San Francisco. This group is free and is geared toward people living with HCV. The support group will start at 6:45pm with light snack and will end at 7:45 pm.

Mark Sorensen is an RN at CPMC Hepatology / Liver Transplant programs, working as an Hepatology Nurse Coordinator.  He had previously worked for the City and County Community Health Network as a Hepatitis C treatment nurse for many years.  Mark has vast knowledge on Hepatitis C treatment and a deep understanding of issues, not only treatment needs but also psychological, emotional, and social needs, among people living with HCV.
