Me too!
There should be man harems... I swear it... LOL!
the book about women's "passages" through life?
geez, jasper. Wake me up when the killin' starts......
hold on i got somethin' for you.....
My favorite chapter is The Five Men You Must Have in your Life at all Times. "Tammy" claims that there are "five different kinds of men that you must endeavor to have in your life at all times in order to have the equivalent of one completely satisfactory man" (p. 105). Since it is not usually possible to find all the necessary attributes in one man, one must find them in different men. "The Basic Five are these: (1) a man who can fix things, (2) a man you can dance with, (3) a man who can pay for things, (4) a man you can talk to, and (5) a man to have great sex with" (p. 106). Tammy's description of these men, along with the stories of the other Queens' experiences with them, are hilarious!
Just don't ask me what "The Promise" is, according to the Sweet potato queens.
ME? GUILT TRIPS? Har har har!
Sure, put the guilt trip on, I likes you too. But the truth in the matter is, it’s been a full moon and its Thursday and the lowest point of the week, I be better tomorrow. Never did fin the book but found a book called passages sounds like an interesting read under the beach umbrella.
jasper
it was!
My thought is this; unless i'm riba-raging and yell at folks like sfw and alla that....
grain of salt on everything. There are things I like about almost everyone on the board and things I don't like about some folks. I personally, for what it's worth, think that you are very much "jasper" here.....no fakery, etc. and same goes for Meki and most EVERYONE else. I like "real" a whole lot. That's why i like you both and many others.
as the beatles say...all ya need is love.
the rest of it is just the crust on the edge of the bread. You gotta bite that too in order to get to the good part.

I was just trying to get recap as I personally couldn't follow all the threads that were related to bluemax... I certaintly didn't want to cast dispersion on anything or anyone but was just curious if anyone could summarize the major point(s) that were being made and said 'inquiring minds want to know'. So, sincerely, without judgement or negative sentiment, can anyone consisely tell me what the threads were all about? I honestly couldn't follow and assumed that due to my own tx that I was 'missing' the major points and even had a friend try to read and tell me but they didn't read all the threads and therefore couldn't as well so I was just asking if anyone could summarize so that it wasn't needed to spend such a long time in reading to maybe get it... I thought I was being told that wasn't possible as it didn't seem to 'hang together' well enough to summarize but still interested if anyone wants to share?
-just hanin' in with hope
and the mind is a Marvelous thing ain’t it. Actually her point did not sit well with me but I will print the story and reread to make sure I'm in compliance with meki’s way of thinking, sorry it was a full moon the last couple of nights.
jasper
prolly true i think.
as a forensic therapist you look for things to hang together, for the overall pattern of things to make sense. There was too much detail that fit together for this not to be true.
but your point is well taken, Meki.

OK - check it --- if Blue was a police officer --- people who are not in the police industry are "punks" out on the streets... etc.
Think Cop/Psychiatrist/Pilot mentality with the story and you'll catch on a bit better.
It spans a long life time...
And regardless if it's true or not - it's very interesting to say the least... and could follow a lot of folks' stories.
Mainly about HCV playing an integral role in being the culprit when things not understandable happen ---- and the fact that DOCTORS are forgetting the activity of HCV when other things are going on --- and are blindsided. (example - the lungs collapsing - that doesn't usually signify HCV to most folks --- It's something else... But what IF by treating the HCV --- that something else doesn't cause the lungs to collapse... etc. ad infinitum)
Basically it is saying to me --- that HCV hasn't been on the boards long enough to be understood...
And the way people are treated when it comes to HCV ---- the stigma...
So for those things most of us can relate... Yanno?
Anyhow - I thought it was a good read... something interesting and thought provoking ---- TRUE OR NOT.
Hey --- be good all.
Meki
Ok then... I had a feeling that being 'lost' in translation was a normal artifact of the 'blue' experience and know that i'm in the fog these days but usually can follow... i was actually looking for a short recap of what the 'issues' are on that but I guess that is not likely a doable do... because no one really knows. At least we got a diversion for a few days :)
Hey this is my 12 week gate this week for the study... I sure hope that I make it through! Any positive vibes are greatly appreciated!!! I'm bettin' that Andiamo and I will both SVR on this new tx program and I'm S4 now... planning to grow old for sure. :)
Later...
Actually I thought the original blumax post was going to get a lot uglier than it did at least to this point anyway, I mean right down to the slamming of individual past and present posters for which we just got a small glimpse of in the last couple of paragraph posted by blumax. I think that was the lead up to the full story for which blumax was about to unleash if allowed to but not all on one thread. Duno, just a gut fellin, O'well.
geterdone
Fullofhope,child24angel... are you having trouble understanding this thread here? or the “original Blumax1 thread?” now you've got me confused. LOL!!!
Jasper,
I'm totally lost as I tried to catch up on this thread and and don't know how to express my confusion as to what it's even about. I thought one thing then realized not that and then another and not that so could you summarize the 'blumax' thread in one post so some of us could catch up? 'Inquiring minds need to know'... :)
O' I had no boubt it was coming... lol!
jasper
OK - I'm spellbound.
Very good information - well told... and good personal glimpse.
I love the sex part... *G*
Thanks Blu--- I'm looking forward to more.
Meki
wow!...my story pales in comparison...powerful story blumax
I love you Jasper - Yer funny!
I'm saving it for last... You know...
The best.... and all that.
LOL!
Hugs!!!
Meki
Hey, where is Meki??? Bet she is sitting at her console at work biting nails and drinking her 10th cup of coffee, sneaking a quick read but can not reply… real torture there, eh? LOL!!!
jasper
Never any doubt in any doc's mind that it was all, 100% HCV involved...
got me on the edge of the woods, ears perked up.
Yes, sounds like an interesting story.
From past experience, the reason you may be getting different character counts per post could have to do with the manner you enter the data.
For example, I've found that if you enter the data without carriage returns or back spacing, the Med Help software allows more characters per post. Conversely, I've had posts cut off short when I tried to cut and paste material. This may be why your first post had more characters than your subsequent posts. Of course, entering data like this without cut and past is very tedius and that's why some suggested a link to a blog.
That said, I have seen some very long character count posts here, and I think they might have been done from a copy and paste from a program like Excel as opposed to a word processing program.
BTW I think you misinterpreted my previous comments re "memoirs". It was not meant to insult you, but in reference to the format here that only allows a certain character count as you are finding out. Yes, some of us were getting a bit antsy wondering when you would start to post, but remember many here are still on the treatment drugs. I'm not, so I don't have that excuse, but I do wish you well in finishing your story.
All the best,
-- Jim
I agree with jasper and geterdone. I read your experiences so far, today, and I am certainly interested in hearing more. Please keep posting.
SJL
I agree and I for one would like to see it in its entirety and it will dispel any conspiracy theories of any infractions of free speech by this site. Is it true? I duno, will it be factual? I duno, will it informative and interesting, yes! Will it be a cause for wonderment of introspectiveness by all, I would hope so… Write on…
Geterdone Blumax, just geterdone!!!
jasper
Blumax has grown on me. I won't break his thread, I promise. I like Blumax. I haven't kept up with it all, but did read today and I think he has something to say. He has been through alot. I don't think he is pulling our leg. I think he is real and I like the way he writes..
