The liver specialist told me today that patients usually relapse in the first couple of months. He congratulated me for post tx lab.  He gave me a lab slip for 5 months out. He said if that is still UND you will be cured. He did not mention a one year lab.

I am going to go for my 1 1/2 year test before the end of the year.  I went to soooo many doctor visits that I am tired of going. I do know I need to get my butt to the doctor's for the last PCR.

72 rotten weeks that got a fantastic result so it was TOTALLY worth it.  I'm pretty sure that without extending I wouldn't have gotten it so honestly not only do I have no regrets --- I'm happy that I did it!

I'd advise anyone who did not get a zero at week 12 to go for it.  The first try counts the most and we just gotta do what we gotta do in life!
