I have the antibody for Hep-C, can I infect my parter sexually?

I think we're talking apples and oranges here.

You can't get Hepatitis C from someone who has hep c antibodies but is viral negative. You can't get it sexually or in any other way.

If the person is virus positive, that's another story.

The question for Kadsay then, is are you Viral negative or are you virus positive? If negative, no chance of transmission.  If positive, then there is a very slight chance of sexual transmission but very low.

If you only have the antibody, then the answer is "No" because only having the antibody does not mean you have Hepatitis C.

If you have the virus (active chronic heaptitis C confirmed by positive viral load test) then the chances are as "Andiamo" says, "very unlikely", but still possible under some circumstances.

Very unlikely,  I have HCV for 40 years and my wife never caught it.
