Imuran

Has anyone on the forum been on Imuran or know anything about it?

The best thing I can tell  you is to put Azathioprine (Immuran) in your search engine.  I didn't know they were the same until I started doing a search.  My GI is talking about puting me on it next month if my enzymes are still down.

I was mistakenly put on Imuran in 1987 when I was misdiagnosed with AIH.  I was sick constantly; if I was within 50 feet of someone that sneezed, I caught a cold.

Since I actually had HCV, taking imuran was a very bad mistake.  Unfortunately, in 1987, no one knew what HCV was.
