Insurance copays for treatment

by jt57, Mar 30, 2008 09:00AM
can any of you give any insight?  I have BCBS but do not have a clue what I am looking at as far as my copay for treatment drugs.

From the other board, I see that without ins, it is about 2500 a month.   But what about with?  I know I can't get free drugs.

Thx

Jean

When Is started tx I had Vista with insurance the co=pay was 365.00 a month for the Peg and Riba. Then I had a change of insurance and Im paying out of pocket 350.00 a month for Humana they wanted over 450.00 a month for Peg and Riba. It really varies from company to company.

I had united health care, and my peg and riba fell under my prescription drug benefiits,
I paid the co-pay as I would have on any tier 1 drug (non-generic) $35 a month for each
I felt very lucky!

I paid 15.00 dollars a month for meds. I am on a bcbs ppo . It varies a great deal with different insurance companies and plans . Its best to get pre qualified so you know from your own ins company.
