Is it normal to feel pressure or discomfort around liver area?

If a physician palpates the liver and you jump off the table; it is liver pain.  Otherwise it is probably gas.  I remember that after my first biopsy I had pain for months.  Was my liver injured? Probably not.  Was my anxiety severe?  You betcha.  A PCP told me also I was very gassy.  Eating fats etc.?  Yep.  Unconsciously gulping air from anxiety re Hep c diagnosis?  Absolutely.  Sometimes things are not what they seem.  That's why we have lab tests and docs.  What conquers anx for me is periodic check ups and consultations and then I am settled that I am not dying of a heart attack when I have gas pain in my chest.  LOL

No but it is probably IBS or something like that unless someone has very advanced liver disease it wouldn't be noticeable as your liver really has no pain nerves in it to feel pain.

thank you for your info, it in itself relieved me of my Henny Penny syndrom (syndrome). Aaaaagh the sky is falling! lol.
