Just your Common Garden Variety Cold.. It's knocking me on my hind end...

I woke up to thumping head - sniffly sneezes - running - congestion, achy... Dang... I sound like a Nyquil ad.  LMAO!

But it's kicking my butt - LOL!

I haven't had a cold for a long time... Not like this. But I'm totally surprised after how I felt on treatment --- I figured I was superwoman and could deal with anything.

But I feel like the world's biggest crybaby right now. LMAO!

Too freaking funny.

I just went to Walmart - got AIRBORNE, Nyquil, DayQuil, Zinc Lozenges... And as soon as I can - I'm gonna hit the Nyquil - curl up in a little ball - and drift off...

Pending of course, on the kids at home...

I downed the airborned and sucked 2 lozenges... Life better be wide awake tomorrow - LOL!

Ah well - it's the little things that kick your butt. LOL!

Hope you feel better soon, I got sick immediately after tx, everyone was getting an upper respiratory that turned ugly at the time, but of course I thought it was because I had just come off tx. Hope your cold stays in the garden variety cold catalogue.

Just woke up to sweats... ICK --- hair plastered to my head... Looked in the mirror - said "SCREW IT" grabbed a  glass of water.. and came to visit.

My first day shift in a few hours --- 6 or so...

Feel better chest wise/throat wise... But man --- coughing and sneezing..

I'm gonna cough on everyone at work.. LMAO!

No not really -- but it's fun to contemplate... *evil grin*

Ah well - at least I don't feel like I'm underwater in a maple syrup pool... I only feel like I've had maple syrup poured all over me...

And not in that kinky good kind of way either. LMAO!

  I don't know how I know.  I just do.  Maybe it's some kinda strange karmic payback.  I think I must have lived on the lower east side of Manhattan seventy five years ago.  Maybe I  had five or six rug rats I'd yell to out the window.   You vant to kill your mother?  You vant to catch your death of cold?  Then they must have come running up three stories and wet white cloths for my forehead.  They must have washed their face and hands and sat all mannerly at the kitchen table and slurped down every drop of my chicken soup.  Probably that's all it was. ; ]
