Last Day Of Tx Today!

Whew!  Well, I did it!  I took my last shot this morning,  my last Riba this afternoon at about 4:00, and it's now time for some New Beginnings.
After 53 weeks - 5 weeks with my original doctor & then 48 weeks with my (more aggressive) Gastro, I can say I AM DONE!!!!!!

I thought today would never come.  Yesterday, I couldn't wait to go to bed so that I could wake up today and do my last tx. LOL  I even kept my Riba in the bedroom last night so that if I woke up at 4 AM or so, I would take my morning Riba early.  My Gosh - what we put ourselves through!!!  I know it's not going to be like a switch going off and I'll be instantly normal again..but I am really hoping to feel more normal again on a day to day basis.

Thank you all...this forum has been "My Rock of Gibralter" during this ordeal and I couldn't have done it without your vast resourses of information, support and understanding.  I can't say thank you enough.  Bless you all!
(((Huge Hugs)))
Eileen

P.S.  I think I'll go paint myself a sign....something about slaying a dragon.  *all smiles*

Congratulations on finishing treatment! You deserve a medal, but SVR will be fine, I'm sure. Drink wheat grass to detox faster. I'm growing my own wheat grass. It should be sprouting next few days. When it gets 3 or 4 inches you can cut it and put it in the grinder.

Congratulations on finishing TX   I know you have to be thrilled  Yea for you!!!!  53 weeks is a long time.  I know very well the feeling of wanting to take the shot and pills as early in the day as possible that last day, you just want it over with.  Last sunday was exactly 1 month since I took my last shot and last weekend (for the first time in over a year) I had so much energy that I cleaned out both of my closets and the storrage area in the spare bedroom.  I couldn't believe I could do it and still feel good.  LOL My leg muscles hurt the next day from lack of use, But GAWD it felt so good to have that kind of energy.

I pray that soon you will have the same kind of energy!!    Congrats again , Nicki
