Merlino - Heads Up, Insurance

Think we have same Insurance and same Pharmacy.  My prescriptions started few weeks before yours though.  Yesterday, Pharmacy held refill delivery because Insurance need to 're-certify' with my doc during tx.  Not a problem, I have weeks of peg and riba on hand and knew this was coming. Called my doc to say that he needs to reply to insurnace asap to 're-certify'. They probably need to swap some stuff.  You may run into the same thing soon.

Hey my friend. Thanks  for the reminder but I already went throught it. But, what seems so stupid is they have me cleared to receive meds till 8/30.  We are done 9/30. Why not just give the the extra XXXX month.I am also ok w/Procrit for the same amount of time.  And, this tx has made me a WMD, just ask my kids.

Maybe clear to 8/30 means the last refill date is 8/30. If it is, and it's a 4 week-supply, that will get you to 9/30.  That's my guess.

Also in week 26, so is Merlino.  Not sure what Insurance wants but doc has it all.  Not too concerned about it. Think I have 3 or 4 Pegs on hand and enough riba to manufacture a WMD.  Glad to here it's still und.  Just a matter of keep' on til the end.

actually they are fairly liberal, we sent the 17 1/2 week pcr results(neg.) to get recertified for the 24 week mark. My np handles all the paperwork and dealing with BCBS.

Do you need a viral load test to recertify? I've had to recertify twice now, once at 12 weeks and once at 24 weeks, each time a viral load test had to be done, results sent to Bluecross Blueshield for meds. Now certified for 48 weeks, which I believe might be all they supply, according to their policy. Doc said he would supply me with "samples" to complete 54 weeks..
By the by, 1/2 way there now, did shot 27 of 54 this morning, and received pcr results from tueday's PCR (26 week), still negative.
