Thanks for your input, I appreciate it and will check out the licorice aspect.  I am of course finding that trying to clear any herbal medications with a "traditional Western Medical Doctor" is difficult because "these products have not been "scientifically" proven.  I have throughout my life used mostly naturopathic cures for other ailments and am a strong beliver in reliving symptoms as naturally as possible.......unfortunately as you say there seems to be no natural way to eliminate the virus....ahhhhhh nuts.  I am quite apprehensive about taking the inferon and ribavin as I had cancer and had to do radiation and chemo and hear that the inferon can be quite like chemo...again...I says...ahhhh nuts/////I have drank quite heavily since I was a teen...product of the eighties you know.....and have quit drinking so am sitting on pins and needles to see what the tx will be.....due to liver damage...thankyou for your thoughts and support...is making my trip into the unknown informative and less stressfull!!

On 10/14 I posted an item re: Milk thistle.  It has been debated but most verdicts, it's ok to take. If you happen to be on Prednisone make sure that the MT that you buy does NOT have licorice in it.  Licorice has a tendency to raise the Prednisone.  The absolutely best thing to do of course, is clear it with your Dr.
I'm sure some will post on here their experiences with MT but most of them are positive.  Just remember the licorice. -:)
