a bit forced and stiff but the final shot was cute.

(Sorry - I'm in such a miserable figgin mood these days).

Anyway, I have a technical question for you.  I would like to find and save my comments over the past year, especially those that deal with SX, to compile a record of SX when I consult with a new gastro next week.

is there any easy way to do this?

I tried an archive browse but it's pretty much hit and miss.

i figured you might know another technique.

thanks,

wyn

The software doesn't allow this but you can get a pretty good list of where you name comes up on this site if you google "wyntre9  site:medhelp.org" and remove the quote marks. It could be very time consuming. Too bad the software does not allow a chronlogical or key word search for an individual's posts.

I bet you can find anything you want in the archives or have already created your own archives.

Wish i was that organized.  :(

OMG!

There are 29+ pages ofcomments!

That is gonna take forever!

But thanks for the tip.  If it snows a foot or more, as projected around here, I might have a whole lotta time.  ;)

PS - I was disappointed in your video.  i was expecting to see a real monkey, like the capuchin one that was freed from monkey jail today and reunited with his human.  It was so cute....all over the reg news.

Hi all of my buddies from the past.  It is great to see you here.  I have had big problems and haven't posted for awhile.  Dx'ed with fibromyalgia yesterday. Extreme pain all the time, I think due to the tx.  Man, I wish I would have waited before tx'ing. I found a new Hepatologist that my ins. will pay for. I made a complaint on the old one with Healthnet and they sent me to SFU medical center.  I like the dr. He knows all the Gish group and went to the Boston conference.  He seems really knowledgable about Hep C.  I was extremely surprised that posting a complaint on Healthnet website got me what I needed. Of course the Dr. I had (that knew nothing) sent me a letter firing me. Oh well!  They are investigating the complaint. I am impressed.  I hate getting him in trouble, as it not something he knew much about.

Wonderful to be here and see my friends.  Grandma, Child24, Wyntre, Jim....I wish I could be here more and chat. Now that I am incapacitated with the Fibro, maybe I can spend some time with you all.  Love and best wishes to all!

Hi Linda,

Sorry what you're going through. Of course good to hear from you but wish the circumstances were different. Don't be afraid to share your story -- here and on the other side -- with those who seem to think treatment is all reward with little risk, but of course understand if you don't want to with so much on your plate.

Child,

I keep running the video again and again hoping she will change her mind at the end.

Good to see you posting again, Linda.

Sorry for your post-TX problems but at least you're not in the classroom  (*LOL*)  I keep telling myself the same thing.

I'm at week 54 (after tonight) and it's getting harder.  I haven't had any of the horrible SX you had and I'm still at the end of the rope.

Hope the fibromyalgia clears up soon.

Hugs 2 u,

wyntre

Elaine, you seem to be right so far. One stubborn woman. But I will not give up hope just yet.

Great to hear from you all!  Jim,  I will post my story soon, it is worth warning others about, for sure.  The fibromyalgia is the worst thing I could have ever wanted. The pain is so bad, I can hardly get on a computer sometimes. It is a lifetime affliction as is are the blood thinners I am on now post tx.  Hopefully, I can make it to 2 classes every other week to be an Educational Therapist. I can have my own practice and test one person at a time for learning disabilities. Lot's of people with Fibro can't work at all. I hope that isn't me, but I may apply for SSI anyway, just in case. Big hugs to you all!

Elaine;  Funny story!  I have been fired a few times by docs. This one I was happy to be fired from!
Wyntre;  What do you think you will do after tx? It took lots of months to recover my energy. I figured that Ed Therapy with one student at a time I could at least use my credential, don't have as many classes to take and kind of follows the same line. I wanted law school, but at 56 (B'day last week) I can't see putting that much time in school again.  Talk soon?

The educational therapist goal sounds perfect for you.  How long is the coursework for certification?

I intend to NEVER step foot in a classroom again.  I have no idea of what I'll do after finishing TX but whatever it is will include a vow of poverty!  *LOL*

yes, lets tyalk soon.  I'm gonna send you the (new) post0move info.  Can you believe it's been 6 months already?

Loved the video. Had my hopes up only to dash them in the end. Oh well!

Just looked at the video. It is hysterical!

Wyntre;

Yes, I hope I can make it through the classes.  Only 2 classes every other week shouldn't be too hard this semester. It is a two year program with a masters component that is only two more classes!  No brainer. Since I have a credential already I don't have to take 5 classes,  so I figure I should be done going this summer and finish by next summer. Hopefully working at the same time with ONE child only, private schools ONLY.  Freaks me out to think of going into a classroom and hopefully never have to.  Since John has his practice at home, I am thinking of doing the same. We have 3 extra bedrooms and an asst., so that should work out. My sister in law and mother in law both are therapists in SF, and make gobs of money. Between $50-200. an hour. Sounds good to me. Really hoping this FM doesn't get in the way.  But with some of these new nerve pain drugs, I think I will be able to do this. With your experience and credential you may think about this too.

Hugs,
Linda
