National Day of Prayer...May 3rd
Dear family,
Today is the National Day of Prayer, and mine is and has been:
-For my family here on the forum.
-For my family.
-For those serving us here and abroad.
-For anyone serving in uniform.
-For this great country, and it's leadership.
-Last but not least for His unconditional love in loving me even when I couldn't love myself....
May we all take it one day at a time and learn somehow, someway not to take the things that are in our lives for granted...but to live our lives in gratitude.

May today He cover you always in all ways....Yours

gee, that's my favorite prayer...good for the believer and non-believer alike...plus he was a great animal lover, hope youre doing well!!!!
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

My favorite too! He not only loved animals, they loved him too. When I was a child I use to stand real still (for about 10 seconds with my attention span) and wait to see if a bird would fly on my shoulder. Never worked. I did have a lot of ladybug friends though!

Father God, on this special day and everyday, I give thanks for all the many blessings that I have received, knowing that it is through your grace that we receive these blessings. I pray for my family, my friends, I pray for all of the many people on this web-site and other medical web-sites who are suffering and just looking for that right treatment to cure them, and take away the anguish and their pain,I pray for all of the many people in uniform that are risking their lifes to protect us and our country, making it a safer place. I pray for our country and the leadership,I pray for your unconditional love and mercy and I pray for the many medical personel and Doctors researching for medications to end these terrible diseases, I ask for forgiveness everyday for any sins that I might have commited, knowing that you have already forgiven me, I pray that you watch over all of the many people that need your love and mercy, Lord keep us all in the palm of your hands and lead us. This I ask in Jesus name.
Father I give thanks to you for all things good and bad.You are the absolute Creator of all the universe and everything in it,It was created by you and for your pleasure......I'm grateful for your Compassion,and Mercy, and the Grace youv'e given me freely.....Especially when I did nothing to deserve your unmerited favor.....I pray Father you extend this Compassion and Mercy to those who will read this prayer,that do know you and especially to those who don't.....Make yourself real to them.....I pray for redemption for those who are without the Kingdom ,and to those who need to be reassured you know exactly where their at,and that your awaiting their plea's of mercy and forgiveness....And to all those who don't know that your Forgivness is there the moment they ask, and that the price was paid and they need not do anything but recieve it....In the Wonder Saving Name of Jesus.....
