Oh great, car died
Well, I stayed home yesterday to catch up and went out to get some dog food, got in the car started it up and poof, a cloud of smokea s I drive down the street. go to my mechanic, he says, it doesn't look good, you need a new car.
Right!! at 61, no savings etc. I'm going to get a new car. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid, i really should have thought a little further down the road. Thank gawd for my mother, (although I feel guilty as hell) she did do some planning and has a decent car that we will have to share for a while. She is 88 and I dont think she will be driving a whole lot.
I really didn't plan on anything...... I need to be grateful for what I do have, both arms, legs, treatment, job (for how long no one knows ) a spiritual path.........

yeah, its a darn shame, that little car was great, the luck of the draw, I did put quite a bit into it already, i remember the days when you could get a used car for $200 I had plenty of those. Its already getting so expensive to live that its almost impossible. I'm gonna look for that nice little piece of land in a cheap place to live, this is crazy here.
But, I did get into a nice study and met a lot of nice people. Find gratitude for every day.

Ouch mary a volvo..I had one many, many years ago..I was a great car..so good that I never had to look under the hood. I just let the attendants add fluids and tuneups back then..But when she did gooo I remember prices for parts were going to be high. Glad your mother is going to be there for you. She might probally prfer to let you drive? Gee a few years ago me and my girlfriend were having the same exact problems with our trucks, we kept meeting up @ auto zone or oriliey's..Anyways @ that time I had a 7? chev and see had a late modle dodge diesell. I bought a starter for 27 dollars and she paid like 270 on up. then it was eighter fuel pumps or altinator's cant remember and again the out come was the same I think her next part was like 350...
Sorry about your car. Mine is 10 years old and starting to rust. Already had a new tranny put in and the rear axle welded. I have no payments and it is a Windstar which fits 2 or 3 dog crates so it is my dog training van LOL.
There is 3 recalls....one is on the rear axle, they have snapped in half......supposedly they will reimburse me for the welding costs.
Another has to do with the vehicle speeding up with out giving more gas, it has done it to me....almost rear ended a car with my mom as passenger
I forget the third one. Cars, trucks whatever can't live with them and can't live without them!!

i will share moms car and we will figure something out. I dont really go anywhere cept work and store, so no biggie. we shall see.

As to the post of yours about the boy...you and I have something in comon we both forgot to stop and have the kids...She sure has some options to way on...Personally if it were me I would choose not to have a kid with hep and not to have one after, but that is just me and nothing I am going to put on a young womans post. lol Ginger
hi Mary. That ***** for sure. Im sorry it seems to be such a bad problem...Hey what kind of jolopy is it what year. Ya ever think of droping in a new engine? It is not to awlfull hard on older cars.. And you can save the expence of car payments...Anymore I spit on the modern late modle. Also if you know someone in the car bizz. you might be able to go to a dealer auction? and save a bundle. Some of the best cars I have had long term have been the cheap lil hondas and toyota's..At least were UND..for now. oh and dont be taking my rotten luck. lol....with cars... Ginger
