Here is one you would love Eric. It's Frost's Devotion.
The heart can think of no devotion
Greater than being shore to the ocean--
Holding the curve of one position,
Counting an endless repetition.
Andiamo: The poem certainly resonates for me...
Thanks for sharing
Libby: me too...'chokin' back tears here.'
And miles to go before I sleep..................

yeah, I like that a lot and always have since young... It is a big task we undertake in fighting this virus, it is such a powerful virus! These last couple of months my mind and body were so worn down... wondered if I might just die or if I did, I didn't care (for only moments, fortunately). We have certain duties and tasks in life where we make sacrifices... but usually those duties are to others our parents or our small child... and you know (choking back tears here)... its easier making the sacrifices for them - when it comes to perserverance in making a sacrifices for ourselves, we're alway second guessing, huh? Unless we can tack on to that, that we have to make it throughh to be here for a loved one...somehow it is more noble that our first duty is always to others... and that keeps us fighting for ourselves, huh? ... when we feel like giving up, knowing we have to be strong for them.but geez... I feel like i've almost lost my life in this battle... always healthy and strong, never depressed ... but this leaves you feeling helpless, weak, depressed. But reading here... I see the struggle can be worth it when we hear from others gone before us ... reaching SVR and eventually feeling some normalcy and peace - - - tonight I wonder if that will come... thank you, Eric, for your always encouraging words...
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."
That was nice to see Eric. Miles to go before I sleep.............
Soooo glad your done! Hope you get back to feeling good SOON.

The last verse in this poem helped me a great deal when a good friend of mine, a former boyfriend, had been stabbed to death. Strange to come upon it again.
We had to read that poem in high school, but at the time I wasn't old enough to appreciate it sufficiently. Thanks for reminding me. It's one of the great ones. Hope you are feeling better day by day.
