Problematic llama lashes

Went for my annual opthamologist appointment yesterday...The good news, eyes have remained "rock solid" from pretreatment baseline. The bad news, I have been having problems with a scratchy feeling in my right eye (have already had a lens replacement in this eye due to cataracts).
The verdict, my eyelashes are growing funny (he gave me a very long technical name for the problem)
and he suggested hot compresses. He also said that eyelashes have an attained memory and could become more problematic if allowed to grow incorrectly, odd. Anyone else have this problem?
Did find a post here on the llama lash subject

I found part of the answer to hungry mouths today.  Take the kids to the grocery store on a Saturday afternoon.  Free eats on every aisle. What a country! Problem is that I can't pass the yorkies off as sight-assisting dog to get them in the store.  Lined my daughters pockets with aluminum foil.

congrats on nearing the finish line. I'm hoping for a moral boost when I get the first 48 weeks behind me and start into extra innings. I feel like a tree being cut down with a pocket knife.....;^)Pro

At least I know I'm not the only one who has experienced eyelash (and eyebrow) issues!
wyntre...my 2 cents, go see the opthamologist for your eye problems...a warm compress could ease the pressure feeling.....
Pull out your longjohns and parrot sweaters,,,they are talking 32 degrees tonight and 30 tomorrow night here in god's country..

Now boys, no kicking with your hooves!

I laughed so hard when I saw your posts, especially about the spitting.
Hope the eyelash problem resolves itself soon. Sounds terrible.

How funny!  Llama lashes!  I have them, too.

On a semi - serious note, I'm having eye problems, too.  Posted about it on the other side.  Feels like pressure, swelling behind the right eye.  Could crooked lashes cause this?  Anyone else have that sx?  Anyone think I should see a Dr?  I'm a little worried.

Hey, you turned the page on your calendar.  Next Friday is 9/21, not 9/28.  "My brain is so mushy..."  duh....

Frijole:

Guess there are still some after-effects.  Told my son to get a leash and take his sister out for a walk.

my eyebrows looked like an owl, grew straight up, no goop, even molding glue would curb their wayward trend...my eyelashes grew straight out- hit my glasses!!  Good news is, at 6 months post tx, its all back to normal-which is wierd, because you know my eyebrows didn't growout and replace that quickly....within two months they looked normal..I just figured it was some wierd hormone deal...

btw, how yall doin?

I was not so fortunate to have the llama lashes.  However, let's talk about the Groucho eyebrows!   I felt like Andy Rooney on tx.  One year post, I don't have to tweeze them, but during tx, I measured some at 1.25 inches!

FL -- talk about a baptism!..   I guess that means she trusts you    (or wants to do you in)

Merlino -- wow -- you are almost done.  congratulations.  I know it's been a rough haul

This is really first weekend not under the influence of peg.  In celebration, my wife went on a girls weekend to Colorado leaving me with kids, dogs, travel softball games and who knows what else.  So how am I doing? Not playing golf and feeding everything that walks...... grrr!

I am finished next Friday 9/28. My brain is so mushy I probably did put wrong date on a few posts. Liver Dr said everything stops that night. I just hope the sx pass just as quickly as they arrived ( who am I kidding). How are you doing?

Hey Deb, how are you and kids? Can't believe its almost over. Deb, I honestly don't know how you and other do 72 weeks. I am so fried. I have been avoiding client meeting because i forget things so quickly.I walk into a room and then stand there because I forgot why i went in.I look like Olive Oil with less hair - I actually bought a piece (like a ponytail). It makes me feel somewhat human.

Hello.  You had me confused earlier this week.  You said you finished 9/28.  Is it 9/28 or 9/21?  And, you said doc told to to stop riba nite of last shot, right? Cool!

my lashes got real long since I have been on treatment - they hit the lenses of my sunglasses...I never knew about the possibility of them growing crooked...thanks for the info

Hi, I started having problems with my right eye about 2 weeks ago. I am on 47/48. Went to Dr's on Monday. All along the lash line is irriated. If I rub it my entire eye lid swells. He said it was an allergic reaction to something. I KNOW its has to be tx. He gave me an ointment which made it worse. I too have the llama lash syndrome. Hope finishing tx will end all these weird sx.

FLGuy, hello my friend. How are you doing? Has to be great not having to take Riba every day. I know this last week is going to be a long one. Having a lot of new sx last few weeks. Did you experience anything towards the end?
