*SVR SVR SVR*

by epiphiny, Oct 13, 2009 11:18PM
Woohoo!  Finally I get to start my own SVR thread!  Wow!  I made it!!  I've been reading everyone else's threads and wondering what I would get to write!  And unbelievably the lab got the results back to me in 4 days, must have been the right timing!  Truly, I am sooo happy I am somewhat delerious, I can't keep still, and I really am dancing!

For those don't know I was a Geno previous non responder to 24 weeks of SOC. I took part in a trial for a new polymerase inhibitor (R7128) in May 2008 and then continued on with 48 weeks of SOC.  I was UND at 4 weeks (RVR).

To those that do know me, thank you ALL sooo much for all our support, through the good times, the bad times, and the really really bad times.  This place is a great source of information and inspiration, I can't count the number of times that people here have picked me up off the floor. Thank you thank you thank you so much!!

(Reaching up, grabbing some air, and pulling down really quickly)… YES! Wow, this is very cool news; I’m so happy for you :o). I’ll slide down now, and make room for you on the SVR bench! Very good work, Epi . I bet you were holding your breath when they drew that vial of blood, huh :o)?

Bill

by epiphiny, Oct 14, 2009 12:22AM
Bill: Yep, and I watched every little bit of blood fill up the vial and I sent all my prayers with it!  It actually felt much better when it was done, it was the waiting until the blood draw itself that played havoc with me!

Sunqueen, YuK, JD - thanks for your felicitations!  I'm still spinning over here!!

xxxxxx to all!

Wow!!!!!!  This is just the most amazing wonderful news!!  I'm so happy to be able to congratulate you on SVR!!!  You were such a support to me and others as we each went through our various ups and downs on treatment - a source of wisdom and encouragement.  Thank you for that ... and for your part in the R7128 trial - the more options for HCV treatment the better.

Just really, really really pleased for you, Epi.  Relieved...and happy that you are SVR and you never have to do this again EVER!!!!

Enjoy...reclaim life!!!  Congrats Epi!!!

YAY what a great bit  of news Pip i AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!

And to even tell you before you were expecting the results well that is like double triple bonus isn't it?

We're really racking up the SVRs in here lately - if anyone doesn't understand why education of the disease and it's treatment is so important...they should just look to all the SVRs in here cause it's so obvious!!!!!!!!

YAY CONGRATULATIONS

by Rockerforlife, Oct 14, 2009 02:03PM
How many of all these SVR`s posted recently are from the PI drugs and how many from SOC drugs?
