I know isn't just all so crazy tring to figure out how this
happened to any of us? My pinpoint is the tattoo, but could it
have been the dentist or the 2 c-sections. One may never know, but
it's here and we have to fight to get rid of it and to educate friends
and family through our experiences that this can happen to any one.
Testing for HCV should be a requirement. I too always thought my fatigue
and muscle pain was just getting old I'm only 39 for gods sake. Thank god
I found out now and not 20 more years later.

THankx!!! to alll for you opinion!
Sexual transmission of Hcv is very rare but possible. usually sexual transmission is male to female.
HepB is more likely to be transmitted sexually that HepC.
i think i got it from dental work, i had implants put in (teeth) and that is right about the time that i got really sick with arthritis symptoms...fever, pain etc..RA is in my fam so that is what we all thought it to be.and i was diagnosed w/ RA , altho it was not in my blood... but it did not take the usual course of RA...????
hard to pinpoint...
You have nothing to worry about.
It is a blood on blood situation.
My 1st husband of 12 yrs is neg.
my husband now of 8yrs. is neg.
It's very highly unlikely.
Don't share nail clippers, tooth brushes, razors, cocain or god forbid needles.
Alot of people here got this from tattoo's, blood trans fusions, surgeries in dental offices, manicures ect..
You'll be just fine!
Don't be scared.
If you really want to educate yourself of the disease check this out, lots of information.
