Hi everyone -

We removed the thread about bad burgers and about alcohol because we know many of you are avoiding alcohol, and some have a history of abusing it.  Don't want to trigger anyone.

However, this forum is a social forum, meaning most things are fine, and doesn't have to be on-topic for Hep C.

Also, please remember that you do have to be civil - no name calling, insults, etc.

As many alcohol discussions as we've had on this forum I find it odd that MH believes talking about alcohol may trigger that addiction.

I thought the thread was a bit ridiculous in the first place but talking about alcohol or alcohol related problems shouldn't not be a trigger whether someone condemns or condones it.  

I've given up addictions and talking about them doesn't tempt to resume that type of behavior.  It's all about choices whether someone is blowing cigarette smoke in your face or spilling their martini on your shoes while your sipping club soda.

I admit I don't get it either maybe we missed something Trin on the thread that came later.  As a person with addictive behavior issues myself reading about beer doesn't make me sit here at work and Jones.......neither does the "I did a line of coke do I have hep?" threads but they don't come down.  I think we missed something interesting that has to be it!

The thread was just redundant anyway, food is bad don't eat food......I'm totally on my way to Micky D's tonight for a double cheeseburger - please do not tell me what is in there I don't care!!!!!!!

To answer your question the odds are really slim, but deb that stuff is no good for you. One line leads to another and before you know it your just blowing your brains out.... BTW, was it any good if so i........Oh  never mind, just stick to the double cheeseburgers.

Double cheeseburgers and fries will make you fat.....but I have choice right?  I don't have to stop if I'm driving by.  Don't have to eat one even if everyone else is and I don't have to eat 2 or 3 or super size it if do indulge.  Choices.....it's all about choices.

Ah you know it hasn't been any good since the 80s......now that double cheeseburger talk about addiction my mouth was watering the whole way to McDonald's.....they have to put something addictive in there or there is no way I'd eat that junk, just no way!  ;)

I'm hungry - haven't had a burger in awhile.  In and Out burgers (California) is my favorite.

Wouldn't be able to force one down my throat nowadays... :-)

But then again I don't eat meat. Though I do like a cheese burger without the meat now and then.

Reminds me of back in the day when I was a meat eating plant...
