VIctrelis SVR status update

Hello,

I just thought you would all like to hear of my status.  I finished 48 weeks of treatment with Victrelis.  I was treatment naive but had less than a 1 log drop in the inital lead in period.  This was not good news and required me to do 48 weeks of treatment and gave me approximately a 30% chance of SVR.

Welll.....I finished my treatment on December 30th and as of April 30th I have no viral count and am undetected.  I have one more lab that is scheduled for the end of June (this will be 6 months post treatment) and if this lab comes out as undetected, then I am officially SVR!!!  This has me very excited and I wanted to share with everyone especially those with similar circumstances to mine.  I'm not quite to SVR yet, but my DR says at this point it is very unlikely that the disease will come back.  Happy Days!!!!! :)

falala - wow - this is great news.  I think your chances when UND at 4 weeks post are awfully darn good.  I hope to see you post your svr in a couple of months.

congrats.

Congrats bigtime! You really beat the odds.  Give yourself on the back because i know some forum members, and i wont mention "his" name, suggested that you reconsider tx options for a later date (i.e. INF free)! Im proud of you for not backing out...always full steam ahead. Great job!

This is absolutely wonderful news, FaLaLa. I know you were very concerned but you bit the bullet and did it. Congratulations.

You have a 99.7% chance for SVR if you are UND at 12 weeks post EOT, so being UND at 4 months post EOT is even better. I think you have it in the bag. I am so happy for you.

Please do post when you attain SVR so we can all party with you.
