What is your favorite comedy movie of all time?

They often say laughter is the best medicine. (that is why I like to post and read others jokes sometimes). Today was one of the days when I felt rough all day and by 5 PM I was getting cranky. My wife went out and rented my absolute favorite comedy movie of all time "Me, Myself, and Irene" for the next almost 2 hours I howled and cried with laughter and actually felt better by the movies conclusion.

What are some others favorite's? If you are feeling like **** try watching it again, it just may make you feel better...even if it is for a short while.

Sleeper.   saw it for the first time on a plane heading to California on a business trip.  I laughed so hard I had the entire passenger cabin staring at me.

Weekend at Bernies comes to mind.  I almost pied when they threw the Baby Ruth in the pool.

Can I have two favorites?  Maybe I should that -watching a comedy instead of being in this office on the computer all the time.  Good post!

I went reluctantly with my husband during tx to see one of his faves, Pink Panther (2). Unlike him, I didn't care for the original.

Don't know if it was the meds but I almost made a scene, belly-laughing so hard it hurt.

The first funny movie I remember seeing was Blazing Saddles, then it was Cheech & Chong, Delerious with Eddie Murphy, Naked Gun 21/2 too stupid but funny, and the last funny movie I saw was
the Disaster movie, nobody else cared for it but I laughed.

Portann- I actually thought I hurt myself last night I belly laughed so hard. I started to cough uncontrollably.

Rocker- If you like Jim Carrey and have not seen Me, Myself, and Irene. I highly recommend it. No one could have played that role but him.

I made the mistake of watching the the Austin Powers movies with my kids (middle school age). All they do is quote lines from the movie...constantly. All good fun though. They love Mike Meyers including the Love Guru!

Like I said we can all use a few yuks while treating or going though it with a loved one. I know it has been rough on my family.

I can't believe no one has mentioned "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" with Steve Martin and John Candy.  My kids can quote almost half the movie verbatim.  It never gets old.  Great, heart-felt Thanksgiving ending, too.
